Fireside Chats

The Dangerous (Women) Book group is now  ensconced in our Borders country house for the weekend. 

We've just finished the best pot luck supper ever and six of us are now chatting  round the fire in upstairs drawing room. Two others are playing Azul downstairs. 

I travelled from Edinburgh with Ridgeback13 and MH and we enjoyed lovely sunsets and a slight detour when we took a wrong turn and we headed up at a nearby farmhouse. A couple of phonecalls soon got us on right track and before long we were sat in snug with appetisers. A lovely start to what will be a lovely weekend.

My bus journey down earlier was good and included a trip across the old Forth Road Bridge and an unexpected three point in the New Town (a consequence of a missing diversion sound). Felt for bus driver carrying out tricky manoeuvre with whole bus watching.
