Wild water swimmers

Temp 7C. Last night we had the first frost of the season .

Today I met over ten wild water swimmers while walking around the reservoir. Apparently, it’s a way of relaxing at the end of a busy working week.
 
Two told me they even swim (see extra) when there is ice on the water.
 
Now for something totally different….
A former neighbour, Robert Ball , has been given an 18-year jail sentence for smuggling £11m  of cocaine in a shipload of bananas  from Ecuador. 
 
Well, we always knew he was up to no good. We never knew how he acquired his wealth, which he liked to flash around. All we ever knew about him was that he ran a “logistics” business involving lorries.
 
He had a succession of girlfriends and after his car was torched a few years ago he disappeared. 
For a while he had Judy Murray as his next-door neighbour. I can’t think they had much in common.
 
I hardly recognized him from the mug shot of him today. Drug dealing had certainly aged him.
