World blood donor day

After an extra early start to the day so that I could be ready for a call to clients in India, I managed to escape at lunchtime to give blood. It was Blood week this week with lots of events and social media stuff going on. Gave my 61 st donation and signed up for a study on the frequency of blood donation and how ìt affects donors.
Pleased to be on my way home and ready to meet up with soon number one who was supposed to arrive shortly after me. Of course, his train was delayed and I ended up lurking round the station for half an hour.

Looking forward to a quiet weekend with all four of us around for a change.
