Iris Murdoch Building : University of Stirling

Today is the start of our finalisation exam procedures which we carry out at the University of Stirling . We are working in the Iris Murdoch Building which houses the Dementia Services Development Centre. Opened in 2003 by Dame Judi Dench , following on from her portrayal of Irish Murdoch in the film " Iris", this centre is important in researching into dementia and in providing training and support for those working with dementia sufferers. These pictures in today's blip are photographs commissioned by the centre and taken by professional photographer Tony Marsh. They are part of a library held by the centre, used as publicity and awareness raising pictures .
