315/365. Charlecote House

As I'm sure, a few of you will be familiar with this National Trust property. For those who aren't, it's surrounded by parkland and has a sizeable deer herd which roam the grounds. The River Avon flows past the property and the smaller River Dene enters the Avon next to the house.

It's a lovely place to walk around and there is a herd of Jacob's sheep in one of the meadows. There are also nice views across to the nearby village of Hampton Lucy and its church.

Next to the park is the church of St. Leonard's in Charlecote village where there are members of the Fairfax-Lucy family, who lived in the big house, are interred I believe. All in all it's a really nice place to visit. Don't forget top go inside the property too.
