Brighton Pavilion

We went to the sea for a day out today, visiting Brighton for the first time in decades. It was a beautiful autumn day with blue sky and sunshine, and this is Brighton Pavilion from its gardens. The light installation partly visible here is inspired by when the building was used as a hospital for Indian soldiers during the First World War. We walked around the city following a pirate-themed treasure hunt, discovering lots of history.
