For the first time this winter I had to scrape thick frost off my windscreen, even at 10 o'clock this morning, but it turned into the most beautiful day of sunshine, blue sky and no wind.

This is one of the several cattle that have taken up residence in the quarry field, which means that Minty and I daren't walk there at the moment.

Off to pour myself a pink gin and tonic as Strictly is about to start. I wonder what delights from the dance floor await us...
