We felt like chicken tonight

A very busy day -with such joys as getting the car cleaned ( not by me) , getting the grass cut( by me) , walking around Marchmont and so on.

But the chicken was accompanied by an allotment extravaganza: potatoes ( nice and big) , parsnips ( nicely frosted) , carrots (3no., small, unexpected), beetroot ( normal and yellow) , Jerusalem artichokes, cabbage and kale
