Food of Love

Poor Carys is finding it a little hard at school at the moment. She is off dance due to her hip, (currently working hard to rehab and get back) but struggling not dancing as it's all she wants to do. One of her roommates has been less than sympathetic about her being ill last week and that has hurt as Carys thought she had a solid friendship. She's tired, school isn't a place to get sleep. She needs it to be exeat, next weekend won't come soon enough. Unfortunately, in many ways, I am away with Will next weekend. Booked long before we knew where C would be or what her holidays would be. So I went over today, took her to Aylesbury, had a mooch, a coffee and then fed her at Wagamama. Hard dropping her back, knowing that she isn't 100% happy, but also in the knowledge that it is currently a perfect storm and that she is strong enough to weather it. She promised to go and chat to a house parent this evening.

Will meanwhile had the District Scout Night Hike tonight, hence my rush to get home to get him there! His group were walking without an adult. He thinks they may have won. Time will tell but it would be a nice send off and final hurrah as a member of 17th Hitchin.
