Birdfood?

I threw a couple of apples for the birds but a squirrel got there first, shredding the peel and scattering it on the lawn. My earlier photos, of tree sparrows bathing in pairs, were not in focus and I was too slow to capture the male bullfinch at the feeder, all photos taken through the patio window and sunroom glass.

This evening we attended another Silent Film Night at the Astoria Centre in Corstorphine. The 1928 film The Fall Of The House Of Usher and the 1920 Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde were accompanied on the Compton organ by Donald Mackenzie, who played for last year's event.
