Armistice Day

Today has been a clear sunny day. I even managed to dry my washing outside. My extra shot shows the frost on the ground and the sheep sitting in the sunshine.
My main shot shows the War Memorial on the 11th day of the 11th month at 11am. I found out that there is no ceremony for Remembrance Sunday this year so I timed my trip into town to be there at 11am today. A few people came to pay their respects, with a bugle player and the usual poems. Subdued, but still moving.
