There was a lot of bird life in the park this afternoon. In addition to the cormorants there were corellas, ibis, swamp hens and ducks. I heard kookaburras too but couldn't see any. 

The more perceptive among you may notice that there's another cormorant sitting next to the yawning one but it must have been shy, not willing to show itself.
