At the museum
We went to a museum in Amsterdam. To see an exhibition on Julius Caesar. A lot to read, some nice objects. But overall not really worth the trip.
The museum was called the Hermitage until recently. It was linked to the Russian Hermitage. Twice a year they would have an interesting exhibition with items from the Russian museum. Mostly from the vaults, but also items that are usually on display there. Unfortunately this cooperation could not continue due to the war. Last september the name of het museum was changed into H'art museum. There is no clarity to the apostrophe. According to the museum it is to put emphasis to the word Hart (heart). Love for the art.
The museum will work closely in new international partnerships with the British Museum, Centre Pompidou and Smithsonian American Art Museum, bringing world-famous art collections to Amsterdam. The first big exhibition will be about Kadinsky.
