Remembrance!

This is a photo from 2007 of the church service of Remembrance that used to be held at Warrington every year.
All the Mayors throughout Lancashire (old Lancashire before 1974) were invited to attend in October and it was a big event.
Sadly it is not held anymore.

I always think of this on Remembrance Sunday.
The times I spent cold and wet at Services on The 11th November at different war Memorials in Pendle we have 13.
Colne, Nelson and Barnoldswick were the main ones.
All worth it after all the sacrifices from the wars.
