Remembrance Sunday

We took part in the Remembrance Sunday service today in Northleach, first in the church and then around the war memorial for the two minutes' silence after the names of all the local men and boys who never came home were read out.  I seem to find it more moving each year.  Sadly it was raining which not only made it quite hard to hold up both hymn book and umbrella but also made it really cold.  This sweet collared dove was no doubt also trying to keep the damp and cold out by fluffing up her feathers.
