Treat yourself

Today was my first day on my own in New Orleans...my parents left for home this morning and I tried to fill my day with fun things to ease my transition into this new world. I took a long walk in audobon park, walked around magazine street, and got a snow ball at the famous Hansen's sno-bliz on tchocopitoulis st, pictured here! It was lovely and just what I needed to start to feel at home in a new town. This evening I went to dinner with lia, one of my new intern friend. Good start :)
