Surprise visit

My son has been in the navy since 2019 and he's currently stationed on the west coast. He came home late Friday on a quick leave, so I was able to visit with him yesterday. He goes back today, with his girlfriend this time, he has an apartment after serving enough time so as not to have to bunk on the carrier,unless on a deployment. I spent a lot of the day in tears, I miss him so much, and just a few hours with him was wonderful but hard too. Two more years and he's done with his enlistment. :)
