Remembering …

Remembering my great granddad, William White, who was a conscientious objector but signed up with the Royal Army Medical Corps from 1914 to 1920 and served on the Western Front during the First World War. 

On his return home, he never spoke about the War or what he had witnessed but suffered from ‘night terrors’ for the rest of his life.
