TOWN WALL

What wars and events the Town Wall must have witnessed in its 700-year history. I was early for the Remembrance Service in the park by the lighthouse so had a walk along the Wall, although this was taken later on my way back to the car. It was a perfect, flat calm, mild and sunny morning with a clear blue sky for the service. Extras are the view across the bay just after I'd parked, and a red-throated diver and Slavonian grebe which I watched from the Wall before I made my way back to the war memorial.
