in Helensburgh under clear blue skies today. This iconic 1902 house was designed by the renowned architect Charles Rennie MacIntosh. It had been rapidly deteriorating due to the wet West of Scotland weather over the years and the decision was made to enclose the whole building within an amazing enormous metal mesh box to dry it out over the next umpteen years.
