rock, brick and rust
We spent an intense day in Buberow, a little way North of Berlin to discuss plans for our exhibition next year. It was quite an intense day figuring out logistical details and selecting works. We made good progress. It wasn't all work. We went for a lovely walk through the fields. A first for me was a bunch of cranes flying past. They looked quite a lot like geese but had a very different call.
The place where we stayed used to be a large farm. I was totally fascinated by the walls. Looks like the big stones were transported by the past ice sheets and split to make a nice surface. A good combination with the bricks.
In the evening we cooked a big curry.
Some more pictures from the walk and the farm on flickr.
