DISCOVERY

These medals belong to The Rev’s step grandfather. He has had them in a box for years. A couple of years ago he had them mounted into a frame…with little knowledge about them.
After watching the BBC TV program…Who Do You Think You Are?…we decided to dig deeper. He had no idea of his first name but thought he knew the surname. After some research we found out his army number. We now know quite a bit about these.
He was also registered twice which probably means he was under 16 when he signed up for WW1!!

Took Dan out for lunch with his niece (who was visiting). He found the whole day exhausting and found it difficult to keep awake after a beer and a Sunday roast :))
The Rev is also zapped after a very trying week…he’s currently snoring on the sofa whilst claiming to be watching TV :))
