Starlings

It was a day with friends for me (Annie), celebrating a friend’s 50th birthday. We headed after breakfast to a mutual friend’s house, who runs workshops on watercolour painting. It was fabulous to be able to experiment with watercolour with an expert overseeing, but also spend time with everyone in the room having known each other 25+ years. The blip is my output from the workshop. In the evening we went out for a lovely meal in Oxford.

Chris popped back home meanwhile, to celebrate our niece’s 18th birthday. Amazing how time has flown and she’s all grown up! Chris rejoined the party with us later in the evening.
