Hailstones

Around 2pm we had a downpour of enormous hailstones.  It last only a few minutes but afterwards it looked like there had been a fall of snow. Only minutes before the sky was blue and it was a beautiful, crisp autumn day. We can always rely on the weather to keep us on our toes at this time of year!
