Oystercatchers en masse

It was a beautiful cold, sunny morning for a trip to Musselburgh. We joined a winter wader & wildfowl identification walk organised by the Scottish Ornithologist’s Club at 10am. The guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable. He reckoned we had seen around 60 different species on the three hour walk and some, like the oystercatchers in my blip, in vast numbers. A great day out.
