Remembrance day

This Sunday I took out some postcards my father collected while serving in Austria at the end of World War II. They are part of a series titled Verwustetes Wien - which I understand means 'devastated Vienna'.

Picturing a few of them doesn't change anything but at least it is a tiny act of remembarance amidst a world that is still witnessing repeated acts of human devastation.
