After the Rain

Met Earthdreamer at the airport and headed through the heavy rain to Kenmare for lunch. As predicted the rain cleared and we headed over the Healy Pass to Adrigole, the mountain landscape was so watery, with streams, rivers and wet glistening rocks. We decided a visit to the highest waterfall in Ireland which would be very full and dramatic and it certainly was! A lovely walk takes you into a valley and to the very foot of the fall, which cascades down Hungry Hill, we scrambled up the rocky slope for a while to enjoy the drama and one day when the weather is more clement and we have more light the top of this mountain calls!
