And now for somethin different...

As I was looking for a blip this afternoon I was walking in the backyard and I saw these fungi on the old maple tree stump. I thought they were interesting. I'm adding an extra to remember this day and this tree. My mom and her grandson planted this tree 6 years ago. It was just 2 feet tall then. Blessed it seems to be thriving.

A real nice time with my mom today. She was in her wheelchair just starting breakfast when I got there. I was able to help feed her while we talked a little bit about of everything. She still wants to walk, to drive her car, to go out to a movie, to... a positive in many ways that she hasn't given up but so hard when she realizes she can't do very much anymore. We watched most of the Seahawks game (we won) and talked about Thanksgiving that is coming up. I still haven't decided where I will be - at my sisters or with mom. I'm grateful my mom said for me to be with my sister but that means she won't be with any family and.
