Goldfinch

Yesterday l went north from London with my birdwatching group.  It was a shocking day, cold and very wet but as we pulled in to Summer Leys nature reserve the rain stopped and a watery sun came out.  It is such a pretty place established from an old gravel pit.  Lots of over wintering birds to be seen in the distance but the only photo l have kept is this little Goldfinch.  
Spoke to middle son who got home from a business trip to  the States on Thursday, he has tested positive for Covid and is feeling not well at all.
