Autumn gold

A beautiful day so we took advantage of it, especially after yesterday being so bad. 
We drove up to Newby Bridge and strolled along the West Windermere Way. 
Not too many people maybe because the steam trains werent running. 

We went into the Swan for coffee and dessert. My raspberry and almond  tart with white chocolate icecream was just right. M's apple crumble  with 2 scoops of icecream was huge!

A pleasant day. 

This is another back blip.. I will catch up.
