White Chair

This strip of land, between N. Ida Street and the railroad cut, belongs to someone who also owns two little rental houses off to the left, and just before the Fred Meyer store. We learned that the property owners gave permission to the woman who lived in a tent under that apple tree. She was 60's, neat, quiet, friendly, and always kept her tent covered with a blue tarp. She was there since at least last spring. But a couple of days ago, we walked by here, the tent was in place, but a ways on there was a bit of new, wet trash piled against a fir tree. On the way home, the flattened tent, the tarp, and more things were strewn around the fir, and the only thing left at her old campsite was this white chair. I'd like to know what happened to her, and how many times it has happened
