Cookie Heaven Since 15.11

It had to be time for another baking blip - so here it is! Well that and the fact that it was a slow blip day.
These were intended to be peanut butter cookies but they look more like something out of the Quatermass Experiment or perhaps even the particularly arid and boulder strewn surface of a planet in the outer solar system.
They were supposed to bake in several batches for 12 minutes at a time, produce 38 - 40 small cookies and alight from the oven soft to the touch and a pale golden colour. So after 'slaving' away until 15.11 in the afternoon of course some of mine (all 12 of them) were more 'golden' than others and they had each spread to the size of a small saucer - hardly cookie heaven! According to the family they tasted better than they looked. Cheers guys!
