Rupture!

We went to our local winery as our stocks are running rather low, and found the ‘Rupture’ notice on all the white wines! It means ‘Out of Stock’.
Apparently a severe frost hit the vines at some point, and only one tenth of the usual volume of wine was produced.
This year’s wine needs another filtration, and then it can be bottled, but we were given a bottle fresh from the tank, which you can see the winemaker filling, which will be ok, if a bit cloudy he says. It was free of charge, so we didn’t say no!
