Evening all.

Day two of Download.

The day of the chair, the horned helmet, and the chewed up food.

Also the day Iron Maiden opened their headlining set with a Spitfire flying over the festival site, (with thanks from Raf Coningsby obviously).

God, what a sight to behold, a spitfire circling and buzzing the site whilst watching helicopters held up the flights from East Midlands airport, and the sun sank slowly into the western sky.

Stunning, stunning start to a stunning, spellbinding concert.

(We'll skip over the three hours it took to get out of the car park at the end of the night though)
