Running hot and cold

Today we visited Chedworth Roman Villa. I had been there once before, 60 years ago! A lot has changed since then, in additional discoveries, and in the sophistication of the displays.
This is part of the underfloor heating system in the baths. .
One thing that doesn’t ever seem to change is our fascination with the Romans’ heating and bathroom systems. This resonated particularly with us today, since the heating and hot water systems in our rental cottage have been out of action for two days! Fixed now.
