One of the last

A few weeks ago, I blipped examples of our community mailbox with one of the newer ones. Before the community mailboxes were installed, people had individual mailboxes like this at the end of their driveways. There aren't many left standing, and since we moved here just over 30 years ago, they haven't been used. The people who delivered the mail must find it so much easier to put the mail in the community ones rather than stopping their vehicles at all the driveways that are quite a distance apart.
