Windy....

Fist off a big barking thanks for your enthusiasm and support on Mrs (Or Mister) Tui. yesterday. 
It's been a windy day. Yes I kno that Welli is "Wet and Windy" but over the years it has got a lot less, so when it feels bad it probably is....
There was a crane operating just across the road at TePapa and it has a tiny Anemometer at the end of the boom. It was easy to see how it was being blown around with the gusts and a couple  of times  it seemed to  shorten and do nothing for a while but we still went out and found it was not too bad on the building side of Oriental Parade and not windy at all in the Cafe.
This lovely bit of fern was sunning itself outside the local Supermarket.
