Dad

My dad in his days as a Police Constable he went on to become a Prosecuting Inspector. I used to feel so proud walking along besides him in his uniform on our way back from lunch but used to be scared when I was 17 and courting and he was the Rural Inspector and quite often appeared outside the Town Hall on a Saturday night if ever there was a fight which was most weekends I had to go and sit in the car out of his way. Him and Mum were married in 1946 and raised the 7 of us to repect our elders and have good manners and family values which we have all passed on to our children.We celebrated their Diamond Wedding in 2006 with a suprise party and every one of the 7 children,11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren plus husbands and partners were there its a wonderful memory to have. He died in 2008 and is so greatly missed by us all but was reunited with Mum on 17th April this year God Bless Them Both :)
