North Pole

We met Mum & Dad at the Bedford Lodge where they kindly let us all have breakfast together. Of course, that meant a full English.  After breakfast, we walked towards the big Co-op to catch the bus the into Ryde for a bit of a look around.  We wandered in and out of a bunch of shops but, of course, we took Mum into The Christmas Imaginarium! Lots of amazing Christmas decorations and I bought an Isle of Wight decoration to hang from the tree.

We took the train back to Shanklin and then a bus onwards towards Luccombe to walk back to the flat for a late afternoon snack.  Mum and Dad went back to their B&B, while we went for some shopping in Lidl, before we all met up for dinner at the Thai Mukda Restaurant. It was nice but the whole thing feels a little sterile and the place wasn’t too warm. The food was, however, quite good.

Afterwards, back to the Bedford Lodge where to drop Mum & Dad back - and watch them help themselves to drinks from the honesty bar - while we walked back up the hill to the Airbnb.
