see and be seen

It was very, very dark  when my alarm clock went off at 6.30am. Even when I arrived at work two hours later, it was pretty gloomy outside, and stayed that way for most of the day. I went to visit Joe when I'd finished, and gave him a lift to the gym as it was raining quite heavily by then, and drove home. I still needed to go out for a walk, so here I am setting off in my brightest waterproof and wearing my new head torch, which isn't an expensive one but turns night into day, very useful when walking on rural roads with no streetlights.

Time for tea now - roasted root vegetables with butter beans and harissa, and some sourdough bread which I made earlier :-)
