Weather

The gales snapped our parasol even though it was in a sheltered position and covered. I had placed it back against the garage wall between the bench and a heavy planter but that didn't save it! Terry repaired it when it snapped last time which shortened it a little and he repaired one of the "spokes" which was snapped off in another gale so I think it has bitten the dust. We will have to get another one next spring. The one we had before was much sturdier and never snapped when it blew over. Very similar design. Lasted years. They don't seem to provide the same quality now.
We had a brief respite from rain this morning but mainly torrential from lunchtime to the time of typing (21:10 hours). I've never known so much rain for so long and there is more forecast tomorrow with another storm on Thursday! Depressing.
