Student Learning
It used to be the common room when I was 16 and 17 with some fine vending machines. It’s where my friendship with Marie was started, lasting us now well into our 50s. It’s a bit of a surprise sometimes, going for Italian lessons in my old sixth form college, every now and then I find an incredibly familiar bit.
Italian was a joy as ever. I let it all wash over me and don’t worry too much about remembering stuff. I’m getting quite good at badly translating very basic written Italian, proud of that. And the grammar is like a fine logic puzzle to be solved. We had the bright idea this evening that a cheap weekend in Italy would help us progress no end, that feels like a proper nice adventure to research.
