Vulcan Photoshoot

I have been waiting for this a long time. A night time photo shoot along side the Vulcan, with actors dressed appropriately. A member of my congregation had, separately, booked as well. We set off together mid afternoon, arriving for the start time of 5pm. 

The weather was very much against us, with only a few breaks on the rain. There were 35 photographers and it was all a bit manic, with the actors placed and told to "freeze" while people got their shots, then it was on to another pose. It was difficult finding the right place to shoot from with all the photographers around. Every time it rained we sheltered under the aircraft for some closer shots, then back out when it stopped. 

Half way through we had a break for a snack. The rain had then really set it so, after one more shoot under the aircraft, there was a change of plan and we were offered an opportunity to photograph the actors in the cockpit of the inside Vulcan - this took a while as only one photographer could get in at a time. 

It was an enjoyable evening, with some very different shots.
