Outside looking in

Went to my friendly neighbourhood optician this evening for a check up. Stephen is a very polished operator and has the perfect manner for someone in a (literally) customer-facing role like his. His surgery is very hi-tech, with every test computerised to the hilt - all highly impressive.

This is a shot he took of the inside of my eyeball, taken with a bloody great Nikon and relayed to a nearby computer screen. The yellow circle is my optic nerve through which my brain processes all my blips - and everyone else's, of course. (The moiré banding is a product of the screen, rather than being a feature of the inside of my eye - I hope!)
