Corner shop, you only get them in big cities. It's the time of year when the day light feels dimmed enough that the artificial light glows. 

Work was busy and fast. I spoke to a colleague who is also from a different place but who isn't allowed to do the top up training and has to start again with the full three years. It seems crazy to me, she is really good and seems to enjoy her job.

The removal guys came to collect paperwork. It was their first time to be aboard and driving a lorry. 
They were keen to see something of Berlin despite the time constraint. I felt like a privileged arse.

 The enormity of being here felt as if it was embodied by a red and white lorry. A friend sent a video from north Berwick, a place I love. The combination of the two was a mix of  looking backwards but also forwards at the same time.
