Grammar lesson
This made me laugh apart from the disgust at someone stealing poppies. I had visions of rows of children in red hats standing where the poppies were. It reminded me of a lesson in GCE English about where to put the descriptive phrase in a sentence. The example was “ A piano was sold to a lady with carved oak legs” . The sentence is too old fashioned for modern kids.
