Lunch on the Orient Express

Well - The train at Bassenthwaite.

Debs Brother Andy is up for a couple of days to celebrate his Birthday. We took him out to the train at Bassenthwaite station for his lunch. He does like his trains, and clearly knew loads more about this train than we did. Apparently it was the actual train from the film Murder on the Orient Express with Kenneth Brannah, Johnny Depp etc, made a few years ago, and was bought by the owners of the station to be used as a café/restaurant. 

Had a lovely meal, and when we returned home, we put Disney + on the TV and watched the film - really added another dimension to think we'd been sitting in it only a couple of hours earlier!

Storm Debi was fierce though, so no other excursions out today - the wind was so strong, the glass in our enormous lounge window was bending - slightly scary!
