Variety

First job was to take the car in for new front tyres, then home by bus (which arrived its usual 20 minutes late). The garden fence was refitted in its proper position and the winter troughs installed.
Then a new transom reinforcing beam to replace the rotten one I removed from the Ugly Duckling with a teaspoon. Back to collect the car then lunch followed by a little gentle lathework on the winches.
Timber now epoxied and the first shoulder pad for a 1970’s American soap is ready on the bench.
And tonight art group committee meeting - such fun.
