The mechanical lever lowers the bread in the slot - but only if the toaster is plugged in ;) 

Pilates this morning - my back is stiff, so struggled with rolling, but all good otherwise. ( I enjoyed badminton last night too, by the way - but it's probably why my back is stiff... )

A spot of castlework this aft, as friends are dropping in tomorrow. A lazy night in front of the TV planned - it's still wet and windy...
