Changing of the guard

The Chaffinch was polite : "I've been here long enough, I'll fly off and leave the perch for someone else."
The Great Tit welcomed the gesture with a cheery thank you and grateful they lived in such a co-operative environment.

The Great Tit was threatening : "I'm going to dive bomb you until you are forced to move."
The Chaffinch flew off frightened and fed up living in such a brutal environment.  "Perhaps I'll move to a place where it would feel safer."
